Your phone listens locally, recognizes crying with on-device machine learning, and adjusts a synthesized soundscape based on how settled your baby sounds. When calm returns, the sound fades out. Audio never leaves the device.

We built Growbaby around a simple principle: your baby's data exists to serve you, not to be monetized. Here is exactly what happens to it:

No selling, no ads. We never sell your personal data, and we don't share it for advertising. There are no ad networks inside the app.

Audio never leaves your phone. Cry analysis runs entirely on your device. No recordings are made, and no audio is ever uploaded. No voiceprint or biometric identifier is created.

Your photos stay on your device. Growth journal photos and collages are processed and stored locally on your phone, and they are never uploaded to our servers. If you use the optional Skin Analysis feature, the photo you submit is sent securely to our AI provider for one-time analysis and is never stored by us. On Android, the system photo picker shares only the photo you select, so we never get access to your photo library.

Where your data lives. Your account and your baby's profile data are stored on secure servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). When you chat with Growy, your messages and your child's profile context are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate answers; under its published API policy, that data is not used to train its models.

You are in control. In Profile > Manage My Data you can delete all chatbot data, delete all your photos, and turn off usage analytics and the optional soothing research contribution (which shares only de-identified sound measurements, never audio, never identity) at any time.

Deleting your account really deletes it. Account deletion is instant and irreversible: your data is immediately removed from our primary systems, with backup copies expiring automatically in our infrastructure provider's backup cycle. The narrow exceptions (for example, records belonging to another caregiver in a shared family) are spelled out transparently in our Privacy Policy.

No. Classic white noise apps loop a static sound. Growbaby listens for crying and adapts a layered soundscape in real time, then fades out when your baby settles. It also includes sleep routines, an AI assistant, a rash checker and a growth journal.

Growbaby is designed for babies from birth up to age 3, and the soothing engine can be used from day one. Every baby is different, so responses to soothing sounds vary from child to child and from day to day, and no app can promise a particular result. When using any sound near your baby, follow common-sense precautions: keep the volume moderate and the device at a reasonable distance, and always follow the safe-sleep guidance of your pediatrician. And remember: Growbaby supports your care, but it never replaces it or your doctor's advice.
